Scholarships with Bonds
Certain scholarships require the student to sign bonds. These scholarships are provided in the hope that the student will serve the institute that provided the scholarships for a certain period. Otherwise, they might be required to repay the scholarship amount in a time bound manner. This would mean that the student should be ready to serve the organisation that provide the scholarship else the students stand to lose certain amount of money in the form of repaying the scholarships after pursuing their education. Such scholarships are provided for nursing scholarships where the beneficiary is required to work in rural and remote areas. The armed forces, coast guard scholarships and many other such uniformed scholarships resemble such scholarships.
