The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) also offers a four-year scholarship for students planning to attend a four-year college program. The requirements for that include being a U.S citizen between the age of 17 and 26 and a GPA of at least 2.50 or an equivalent high school diploma. The Physical standards must also be met and a commission should be accepted to serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component.

Academic requirements for similar scholarships that are offered include:

Air Force ROTC Scholarship – Requirements vary according to officer position.
Air Force Association Scholarship – Academic requirements include a SAT composite of 1100(Math and Critical Reading Portions) or ACT composite of 24 and attain a GPA minimum of 3.0.
American Legion Legacy Scholarship – The applicant must be a high school senior or high school graduate to apply for the scholarship. Scholarship is for undergraduate study at an accredited institution of higher education within the United States.
Dolphin Scholarship Foundation – Scholar must attend a four-year accredited college or university and intend to work toward a BS or BA degree.

Need based Scholarships
