Career Specific Scholarships
Scholarships are some times for career specific needs. The scholarships offered are for pursuing education in certain disciplines. The college may offer scholarships to such specific field of study as required. The areas that requires a lot of manpower are also given scholarships to augment the need for professional in these areas. Nursing and other such high need areas are given scholarships so that more and more students would come and fill in the gaps to pursue education in these areas, which are short of man power. Sometimes students are offered scholarships if their studies benefit certain community or focused on providing social service after pursuing their higher education these include aboriginal scholarships. Students are required to pursue their profession in the field which the scholarship was provided.
